Bishops Scale - Lake District

Bishopscale

Bishops Scale, which is the clubs HQ and largest hut, stands in the majestic Langdale Valley with views to the Langdale Pikes, Crinkle Crags and Lingmoor.

The hut sleeps about 70 people in the main section and a further 18 in the self contained families section.
The club chapel stands in the grounds of the Bishops Scale hut and is a beautiful conversion of a traditional lakeland barn.

Beckstones - Lake District

Our Beckstones hut on the side of Corney Fell in the Duddon Valley is 3 miles from Broughton in Furness. The property has 5 Dormitories and sleeps 20 people in the main part. The adjoining Bothy provides self contained accommodation for a family. Beckstones is a well appointed and cosy hut offering access to the quiet side of the Lake District including the Duddon, Wasdale and Eskdale.

Dunmail - Lake District

Dunmail Hut

The Dunmail hut is on the main road between Grasmere and Keswick on A591 at the summit of Dunmail Raise.Grid ref.NY 330111. The club has owned Raise Cottage since 1947.The property is maintained by the voluntary efforts of the members of the Achille Ratti Climbing Club mainly for the use of young people and visiting climbing clubs. The hut has 38 bed spaces in 4 dormitories. From time to time the hut is used as a base for club meets.

Tyn Twr - Snowdonia

Tyn Twr is on the edge of Bethesda at the foot of the Penrhyn Quarry. The hut is an ideal base for expeditions into the magnificent mountains of Snowdonia, and for cycling on the coast and Anglesey. The hut is a traditional slate building and sleeps about 30 people.
